Description: Direct from Salvador, Bahia, Dany Maia brings the authentic sounds of Brazilian music to Australian audiences. Having begun her artistic career touring Brazil, Portugal and Spain as a professional dancer, Dany later decided to make singing her main focus. Dany has shared the stage with important Brazilian artists including Margareth Menezes and Timbalada, as well as performing at the famous Carnivals both in Sao Paulo and Salvador.
